House of Theodora (HOT) is an active and loungewear brand owned by a London-based Nigerian actress, producer, presenter, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and now a designer, HRM Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade. She ventured into the business of fashion out of her love for it. On one of her international trips to fashion shows, she met our CEO, Mr. Sola Oyebade where they exchanged ideas on the trade and now, we are catching up with her to tell us all about her emerging brand.

Tell us about yourself

My name is HRM Theodora Ibekwe Oyebade. I am a Nigerian. I’m Ibo and married to a British-Yoruba man. I am an actress, producer, presenter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. I’m also into Youth Empowerment. You can find me on youtube as Theodora Ibekwe Oyabade TV and catch up on all my empowerment sessions/presentations with the youth shown on Ben TV Sky Channel in Uk and on Youtube.

Why did you decide to venture into fashion?

I ventured into fashion because it’s a passion. It’s been, my first love. I started working in fashion when I used to organize Miss Elegant World Beauty Pageant in 2008. Actually, that was how Mr. Sola and I met. I usually attend fashion events in the UK.

Tell us about your brand

House of Theodora, HOT is into unique outfits and accessories made in Rhinestone and Diamante. it is identified by its uniqueness and like a mantra, it is in a class of its own. It is an affordable luxury brand where we make everyone look elegant even while lounging. HOT makes you look very outstanding, simple, and classy. We are sold out in hours after we post a product on Instagram. Actually, it is God’s grace.

What are your goals and aspirations for the brand?

I want HOT designs to become one of the world’s best-sellers just like other renowned designer brands that people love and can’t even do without. You will get the best quality at HOT but at an affordable price.
