What fashion has come to stand for goes more than just pretty clothes on pretty people in our world today; statements are made, multiple topics are explored, and empowerment is the hallmark of it all.
At Lagos Fashion Week, Sunlight collaborated with Style House Files, a fashion-focused business development agency, to sponsor three designers, Adesola Falomo, Itunu Bamidele, Victoria Anosike who created and showcased the Sunlight collection at the event. This initiative aims to empower female entrepreneurs in the fashion industry by giving them grants and promoting the amazing work they do in the industry.
Itunu Bamidele of Africcana used African fabrics in a creative and beautiful way for the stylish and modern woman, Victoria Anosike of Kwelaku showed vibrant and sophisticated pieces while Adesola Falomo of TwentySix.Co combined African prints with expert design and stylish details.
