Nominee: Indigenous Fabric Maker Of The Year 2019

My name is Adenike Onikute, I run AsoTiwa Fabrics Ltd. The name’ AsoTiwa ‘ means ‘Our Cloth’ in the Yoruba language of Western Nigeria.

The aim of the company is to promote the use of these Nigerian hand made Adire/Batik designs on different fabrics both at home and outside the shores of the country. This we have been doing gradually since the company commenced in September 2016.
