Best Hair and Makeup Looks From Met Gala 2021 Red Carpet

The looks at this year’s Met Gala was expectedly impressive. Maybe it was supposed to make up for last year of no physical event right? Expertly and beautifully done, the attendees dressed up in accordance to the glorious event’s theme, “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.

There were a huge number of personal styles, bold and futuristic looks, some channeled towards Old Hollywood glam, and others took a cue from the ’60s mod movement. From Lupital Nyong’s African girl Fro to Gigi Hadid’s retro ponytail and graphic eye combination, there were a lot of defining hair and make up moments to behold at the Met Gala. Even though some guests were not included in this category such as Kim Kardashian who wore a head-to-toe Balenciaga covering, we are still drooling beautifully over the rest.

Hair was particularly spectacular, with so many of our favs wearing dramatic colors and sky-high headpieces. And the makeups, yes,, it was about the eyes, the lip stains and popping skin.
