MrBright Attire is a men’s and women’s wear fashion brand. It specializes in unisex corporate and traditional wears. The brand prides itself on its high-end services and production of excellent outfits. Their traditional (kaftan) and corporate wears are known for details and functionality.
We had a chat with the brand’s CEO, Mr. Fatomilola Micheal, and here is what he has to say:
My name is Fatomilola Damilola Michael. I am the Creative Director of MrBright Attire. I was born on August 5, 1997 (23 years old) in the city of Isolo Lagos, Nigeria. The fourth child of my parents. I am from Ifishin, Ekiti state Nigeria.
I attended Government schools from nursery to secondary, I graduated in 2014. Immediately after SSCE, my first job was as a baker. (April 14, 2014- August 03, 2014).
I started my fashion career at “Fabulous Fashion Academy” where I did a year diploma course in devising unisex outfits, accessories, and Ankara bag making. This I did for a period of one year before I went ahead to”Fisco Fashion Academy”. My program with them lasted for two years.
I also worked as a fashion stylist at TWIF Clothing Company for few months before I finally got my admission into Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) for a National Diploma course in Industrial Design from April 09, 2018 – till date. I am presently running my HND in Fashion and also growing my Brand as well.

MrBright Attire is a brand born out of consistency and determination.
After three years of internship, we started in 2018 with a manual sewing machine. In 2019, we started keeping our day-to-day activities and sales records.
In 2020, we become registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). We experience a pandemic in 2020 but notwithstanding as at August/September we began to make higher sales through the year till now.
In March 2021, we debuted our collection at the Urban Style Fashion Show runway in Ibadan. In June this year, we made a reform of the collection by making a studio version of it which we intend to publish globally.
My greatest achievement so far is having my business on Fashion Finest Africa Blog. I feel it is a step forward in the right direction. It will give my brand global visibility and a louder voice to the world.
I ventured into the fashion business at the age of 17. I was inspired by the neatness of one of my classmates in my secondary schooling. His uniform was remarkably always well-tailored and neat.
I did my Fashion intern for three(3) years, 2015-2017. Within this time, I learned how to design traditional wears (kaftan) & unisex corporate suits (suit and blazers), From 2018 to date, I am a fashion student at Yaba college of technology. I am passionate about Fashion, an inquisitive person and even without a rich background, I am directional and very ambitious.
“Excellent Outfits” has been our unique selling point. It gives the brand outstanding sales in the market over other fashion brands.
Our goal is to build a sustainable Fashion brand and network globally. We are aspiring to be a well-known fashion brand in Nigeria, Africa, and globally in the next five years.

I knew Fashion Finest Africa (FFA) through the online Instagram competition they did last year. I was one of the participants of the completion, but unfortunately, I was eliminated at the semifinal stage. Ever since then, I have been following up on all their updates.
