The Headies is here again. Oh how we miss the red carpets.
The 14th edition of the show held yesterday, 21st 2020. Initially, It was scheduled to hold in December 2020 but was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic. The award recognized outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
The nominees were announced on 4th December 2020 with Fireboy DML holding the most nominations followed by Davido and Wurld and then Burna boy, the popular artiste of the year. This year also added for the first time a new category of “the Songwriter of the Year” which brought to the limelight individuals who have supported the creation of quality music significantly.
This year’s Headies was held digitally.
