Last night’s episode of the Big Brother Naija reunion show was epic. The housemates represented our culture fully well.
Once again, they brought out the diversity in our African prints and showed the modern twists that can be applied to our traditional outfits.
The yellow mellow effect on Nengi’s dress was a bomb. Dora, with the leather detail on her Ankara blazer did magic. And Vee?! She looked stunning and was an actual diva in that Ankara mix match outfit, the turban on her head made the outfit more amazing.
The men, as usual, came with the complementing magic. What @tai.lore did with Neo’s Ankara suit was super creative. Prince Nelson came invoking the royal presence in that all velvet agbada.
The housemates and the respective stylists/designers that put their outfits together proved to us yet again, the magical effect of African prints and how adding a little tweak to the ordinary can make a lasting impression.
We could go on and on about how stunning the housemates were, but beauty they say lies in the eyes of the beholder.
