Popular Northern Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau was trolled on social media for wearing a dress which many of her muslim fans have described as indecent. According to reports, she modelled it for her friend. She posted it on her Twitter page only to receive backlash with numerous followers condeming the outfit and terming it as “devilish”. Some even considered it to be an act of blasphemy against the Prophet and against her faith.
The 26 years old Northern actress has been blamed for this and trolled by her fellow Muslims. A lot of Muslims have called her “irresponsible” and “indecent” just for wearing the dress.
She has since deleted the picture on her Twitter page and apologised to everyone for this. However, the actress Rahama Sadau will be appearing in a Sharia court in Kaduna over allegations of blasphemy levelled against her.
In a press release signed by Lawal Muhammad Gusau on behalf of the concerned and peace loving Muslim, Some conditions were listed and it was stated that they must be met before she defends herself.
It was also noted that the case against her is a matter relating to the Islamic Law and not a matter relating to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
