The theme for this year’s show was “30 under 30: The New Stars”.  It marked the first time ARISE Fashion Week awarded monetary prizes to designers. Designers like Kiko Romeo, Lagos Space Programme, Mazelle Studio, Onalaja, Pepper Row, RÉ Lagos, T.I Nathan, TJWHO, TZAR Studios, VicNate, among others competed the star prize of $100,000.

The event started on Tuesday with an exclusive brunch with selected fashion influencers, then a welcome dinner on Thursday and then a runway presentation by the designers on Friday and Saturday with songs by African artistes.
